Nantong port imported barley spray this year

According to statistics, from January to August 2010, Nantong Port imported 190,000 tons of barley with a value of 40,451,900 USD. The weight and value of goods increased by 62.24 times and 59.11 times respectively.

The major importers of barley at Nantong Port are Australia and France, of which Australia imports account for 95.58% of total imports. Compared with the same period of last year, the number of imports from Australia and France increased significantly.

The reasons for the blowout of barley imports are as follows: barley production costs are 5% to 10% lower than corn feed, but nutrient content is higher than corn feed, resulting in a gradual increase in feed barley consumption in recent years; China's beer in the past 20 years The rapid development of industry, beer production increased by more than 5%, the current import of beer barley has accounted for 50% of the world trade volume of beer barley. It is expected that China's barley imports will continue to show an increasing trend in the next few years.
