Why does the mushroom culture not produce mushrooms on the surface of the culture material, but under the culture material, or even on the reverse side of the bed frame?

When cultivating straw mushrooms, no or little mushrooms are produced on the surface of the culture material, and mushrooms are produced under the culture material, or even on the reverse side of the bed frame, generally due to two situations:
1. The moisture content of the culture material is uneven, and the surface layer is dry, while the moisture content of the lower layer is wet, and it is easy to occur under the culture material or on the opposite side of the bed frame, especially cotton seed shell is more likely to occur. In some cases, because the cottonseed hull has poor water holding capacity, the water is liable to leak downwards;
2. The bottom of the culture material is mixed with soil particles, and the water absorption of the soil particles is good, so that the moisture content of the bottom material is more conducive to mushroom production. However, this kind of mushrooms at the bottom are weak in light and light in color, and some are on the opposite side of the bed frame. Due to the influence of the mattress, most of the mushrooms are malformed, and the quality is mostly poor, affecting the value of the product .

To avoid the above situation, you can take the following measures:
1. Make sure that the moisture content of the cottonseed husk culture is evenly adjusted. Before sowing, first expose the cottonseed husks, then soak them in the lime water of PH14, so that the cottonseed husks fully absorb water, and adjust the pH to be alkaline, and then pre-stack for 24-48 hours. After pre-piling, the cottonseed hulls are softened, the moisture is thoroughly absorbed, and the seeds are evenly seeded.
2. Strictly control the bottom of the culture material mixed with soil particles.
3. The material table is covered with soil to keep it moist and keep the material table moist and easy to grow mushrooms. The soil-covering material is best to use nutrient-rich surface vegetable garden soil, which is exposed to sunlight and adjusted with 1% lime water for future use. When the surface of the culture material and the material is evenly sprinkled with the straw mushroom strains, pat the material surface so that the strains and the materials are in close contact. Then cover with a layer of soil grains about 1cm thick. After covering the soil, not only can the mushrooms emerge on the surface of the material, the yield is high, and it is easy to pick.
