Master the spring cultivation techniques to ensure the high yield of line pepper in the greenhouse
Spring is an important stubble in the production of line peppers in greenhouses. The line peppers planted in this period have the characteristics of high yield, good quality, high market prices and good economic benefits. It is the golden period for the majority of growers to plant line peppers. Experts believe that only by grasping the various links of spring cultivation of greenhouse line peppers and paying attention to scientific management can the yield and economic benefits of line peppers be ensured.
Variety selection: select varieties that are early maturity, cold resistance, heat resistance, disease resistance, high yield, medium growth potential, suitable for close planting, and not easy to grow.
Timely planting: The minimum temperature in the shed is above 5℃, and the ground temperature of 10 cm is 12℃~15℃. It can be planted after one week of stability.
It is usually planted in mid-March. Choose a vegetable plot with high dry terrain, good drainage, deep soil, and fertile soil, and choose a sunny shed more than 10 days before planting.
When preparing the land, apply 150 kg of lime per mu, 2500 kg of high-quality organic fertilizer, and 50 kg of compound fertilizer as base fertilizer. The compound fertilizer should be spread all over the soil, and then leveled and covered with mulch.
Planting method and density: sheds about 5.5 meters wide, 4 borders per shed, two rows per border, hole spacing 0.4-0.5 meters, 1 plant per hole, 4000-4800 plants per mu.
Strictly grade before planting, remove damaged seedlings, weak seedlings, and diseased seedlings. Choose to plant seedlings in the morning on a sunny day. Do not plant seedlings too deep. When planting seedlings, pour enough water to prevent flooding immediately after planting. Flood irrigation is not conducive to squatting seedlings.
Post-planting management: In order to promote slow seedlings after transplanting, it is necessary to adhere to a high temperature and high humidity environment. Therefore, 5 to 7 days after transplanting, light wind should be applied depending on the weather, and the cross wind gradually increases after the seedlings are slowed down to "squat seedlings" to grow roots. The temperature in the shed during the day is kept at 20℃~30℃, and at night it is kept at about 15℃. After planting, the night temperature is low, remember to close the crosswind in the evening.
Water and fertilizer management: Adhere to the principle of "small water is poured frequently and water is not flooded". It is advisable to water in the morning on a sunny day. Avoid rainy days or strong winds after watering to avoid retting and dead seedlings when the ground temperature is too low. When flowering and fruiting, we must pay special attention to control water and fertilizer.
Light management: clean the shed surface frequently, remove the sundries between the rows and under the film, improve the ventilated and light-transmitting environment, enhance the light transmittance, and reduce the incidence.
Prevention and control of plant diseases and insect pests: The main diseases of thread pepper include blight and root rot. For blight, use 72% Kelu wettable powder at 500 times or 72.2% Pulique water at 600 to 700 times to prevent and cure; root rot is sprayed or irrigated with 50% A Thiophanate, 800 times liquid of sulfur suspension emulsion or 500 times liquid of 50% thiophanate methyl wettable powder.
Nematode pests are mainly aphids, use 10% imidacloprid wettable powder 1500 times liquid or 3% acetamiprid EC 1500 to 2000 times liquid.
