Production of functional xylo-oligosaccharides using biotechnology
The project is an eco-agriculture project that uses biotechnology to develop and use agricultural product waste. Using corn cobs and cottonseed hulls as raw materials, xylo-oligosaccharides are processed to obtain high-yield xylan-producing strains using microbial breeding techniques. Xylo-oligosaccharides are enzymatically hydrolyzed to obtain crude xylo-oligosaccharides, followed by ultrafiltration and nanofiltration. Filtered to get a boutique. Xylo-oligosaccharide is a functional food with low daily intake, good thermal stability and acid resistance. It can promote the proliferation of Bifidobacterium with high selectivity, improve the body's immunity and anti-cancer ability, and inhibit the exogenous pathogens. The human body invades, prevents intestinal diseases, reduces human cholesterol, promotes calcium absorption, and can be used as a taste correcting agent for patients with diabetes and obesity.
