Wind, Snow, Disease Prevention and Fertilization - Winter Vegetables
The vegetable expert guidance group of the Ministry of Agriculture recently put forward the technical advice on winter vegetable management and requested to strengthen the classification guidance and adopt targeted measures to strengthen the management of winter vegetable production.
With the advent of winter, cabbage, green leafy vegetables, and roots and autumn vegetables must be stopped and watered and fertilized. Due to high air humidity, celery and leeks and other groups are closed and susceptible to infectious diseases. Disease prevention and control should be strengthened and listed in batches in stages.
At the same time, arrange the winter management of facilities and vegetables as early as possible. The measures are as follows:
Pay attention to wind and snow protection. In the windy weather, the film ropes should be pressed tightly, and on the grasshoppers and the outer film, press the two steel wire ropes horizontally and laterally, which can effectively prevent the wind from blowing the grasshoppers together with the outer film. In the windy days, the vents should be sealed to prevent the wind from blowing into the greenhouse. Snow weather should cover grasshoppers as soon as possible, and a layer of rain-snow-proof film should be placed on the grasshoppers, and the snow should be cleared in time after snow. Some spare pillars can also be prepared in advance. If the snow is too big, add pillars at a distance of 3 meters from the front of the greenhouse to prevent snow from crushing the shed.
Control the temperature of the booth. Low temperature in winter, we must adhere to the "late release early cover." After opening the haystack in the morning, make sure that the indoor temperature does not decrease. In the afternoon when the temperature in the greenhouse drops to 20°C, cover the grasshopper in time to maintain the room temperature.
Do a good job of water and fertilizer management. In the middle and late November, sunny watering should be selected, and water should not be poured in the deep winter season. When there is a lack of water in the vegetables, the weather may be fine. The drip irrigation under micro-film, micro-sprinkling irrigation or pouring water under the membrane may be used to avoid the groundwater from reducing the ground temperature. In winter, the growth of vegetables is slow, and less fertilizer is needed. Top dressing should be based on decomposed organic fertilizers and biological bacterial fertilizers. It is best to use drip irrigation and micro-spray irrigation to implement integrated management of water and fertilizers. It can also select sunny weather and cooperate with spraying and disease prevention. The pesticide is applied to the foliar dressing.
Even cloudy response. In the shade (snow) days, as little ventilation as possible, early in the afternoon to cover the grass, so that the greenhouse to save more heat. As long as the weather is snow-free, it can be uncovered before noon to make full use of scattered light. Lights can be filled at the same time to fill the light and be covered early in the afternoon. If the temperature is low at night, conditions can be properly replenished. After the weather turns fine, it must be gradually exposed. If the wilting of the plant leaves is found, it should be covered immediately. After the plant is recovered, it will be gradually re-opened.
Disease prevention and control. To reduce the occurrence of vegetable diseases in solar greenhouses, it is imperative to minimize the air humidity in greenhouses. When using pesticides to prevent vegetable diseases, try to use dust or aerosols.
