Over the past 10 years, thanks to the unremitting efforts of agricultural scientists in China, insect-resistant genes have been constantly refreshed, and insect-resistant genes have been constructed from monovalent to double-valent, with the resistance of cotton bollworm to multiple resistances such as disease resistance and aphid resistance, and now they have begun to improve their quality. Improve gene construction in terms of yield. In response to problems such as premature senescence in the late stages of genetically modified insect-resistant cotton varieties, agricultural scientists researched and proposed the “Healthy Cultivation Methodâ€, formulated four sets of cultivation technical regulations and two sets of pest and disease prevention technical regulations, and succeeded in large-scale demonstration. In terms of industrialization, there have emerged four types of genetically modified insect-resistant cotton varieties industrialization-oriented, enterprise-led, base-based, and association-oriented, including the Cotton Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Genesis Transgenic Technologies Co., Ltd. The business model greatly accelerated the speed of the promotion of domestically produced transgenic cotton. At present, the domestic market share of transgenic insect-resistant cotton seeds has surpassed foreign insect-resistant cotton, which occupies a dominant position in the production of insect-resistant cotton in China.
