The breeding technology of gold leafhopper
The golden leafhopper is a new species of the national dragonfly. The deciduous tree is selected from the budding of the country. The leaf color is golden yellow throughout the growing season. It looks like a tree full of golden flowers and is very beautiful. It has the characteristics of golden color, full crown, and tall trees. It can be widely used as a garden for solitary planting and landscaping, as well as for arranging landscapes. If it is planted with other red, green and shrub species, it will show its vividness. effect. In order to make this fine tree species of golden leaf more quickly and widely used in landscaping, its breeding methods are summed up as follows.
First, the breeding method
The breeding of gold leafhoppers generally uses grafting. The original species of common locust is used as the rootstock. Grafting and cutting can be used for grafting.
1. Inlay Buds. Inlay bud grafting is a grafting method commonly used in current production, and the operation is simple and the survival rate is high. It can be carried out in spring, summer and autumn. The best period is from late spring to early autumn. At this time, the temperature is high, healing is quick, and it is easy to survive. When buds are picked, select the branches that have grown vigorously and full of leaf buds for scion, cut the leaves and wrap them in wet towels or soak in water to prepare them for shoots. Select 1 to 2 years old seedlings as rootstocks. The rootstocks should not be too large. When grafting, firstly cut the scutellum buds from the scion. First cut a knife from about 1 cm above the shoot obliquely down. The incision is about 2 cm long, and the buds are cut obliquely upwards from about 1 cm below the buds. Bud size is generally 1 to 2 cm in length and 0.5 to 1 cm in width, so that buds live in the middle or slightly above the bud. The rootstock picks a straight and smooth part about 5 centimeters from the ground and cuts the bud in the same way, cuts the incision that the shape and the bud piece match, the length should be able to just fit the best. The buds were inserted into the incisions so that they were layered and finally tied with a plastic film.
2. Cut it. Use thicker stocks for cutting. Usually only in the spring. When grafting, two scions that grow 6 to 10 cm and have 2 to 3 full shoots are selected first. Cut smooth noodles that are approximately 3 cm long on both sides of the lower end, and cut the noodles straight and beyond the heart. Then cut the back end of the long noodles into a small slope of 0.5-0.8 cm. Rootstocks were sawed at 2 to 5 meters, and they were flattened. The rootstock was then cut perpendicularly between the cortex and the xylem with a knife and the incision was about 4 cm long. Insert the scion from the rootstock incision along the middle of the xylem and phloem, cut the long noodles towards the xylem, align the formation layer, and cut the upper part to “white†0.3-0.4cm. Then use a plastic sheet to wrap the scion around and fix it on the outer cover. 15cm 20 A plastic bag of centimeters is fixed with plastic ropes.
Second, grafting technology
It is easily oxidatively discolored and affects the division of meristems, and the survival rate is also lower. The anvil and ear binding sites should be tightly bound so that the anvil and ear formation layers can be in close contact to promote survival. Maintaining a certain humidity on the binding site after grafting is one of the keys to the formation of a healing tissue. At present, the use of plastic film banding has produced good results.
Third, management after grafting
1. Cut the anvil. 10 to 15 days after grafting, if the buds that touch the buds fall, indicating that they have survived, the rootstock should be cut at a distance of 1 cm above the sprouts to remove the plastic wrap.
2. Smear buds. After germination, the sprouts on the rootstock should be removed to ensure the growth and development of the graft.
3. Fixed. After being raised to a certain height, the high grafting seedlings are easily broken at the interface under the influence of the wind. Therefore, when the grafted seedlings grow to a certain height in the same year, they are also reinforced with wooden sticks.
